Cavernous Hemangioma of the Breast - Case Report and Review of the Literature -

Abstract

|
Cavernous hemanagioma is rarely occurs in the breast. Here we report on a case of 55 year-old women with breast mass diagnosed as cavernous hemangioma. Sonographic examination showed well-defined mass with decreased echogenicity of 0.9 cm sized in longest diameter in the left breast. She underwent mass removal. Microscopically, the mass composed of meshwork of variable-sized blood vessels lined by endothelial cells with no cellular atypia. The lining endothelial cells are positive for factor VIII and CD34
